The CVC Talent Program of Internships promotes science and innovation and encourages research in highly talented young students.
The program offers undergraduate and master students an opportunity to learn about research culture, technology transfer and innovation in an international and diverse environment with more than 100 researchers from more than 20 different countries. It is a unique opportunity to experience how is it to work in a research environment.
Interns will have to face specific research challenges guided by our researchers. They will be provided with high-performance computing facilities and trained in the current state-of-the-art methodologies related to computer vision at large at the same time as they participate in regular complementary activities (reading groups, seminars, etc.).

The program is addressed to students from university degrees related to Artificial Intelligence, Data Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Computational Mathematics and Data Analytics. As a general rule, we expect applicants to fulfill the following requirements:
- To be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or master university program.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Programming skills including Python & Deep Learning frameworks (Pytorch / Tensor Flow).
- Additional skills will be also required for each specific project.
Application process
All applications shall be submitted exclusively online. Required application material shall be uploaded to the application form and must be complete to be considered. To apply for an internship, suitable candidates are requested to prepare and submit the following document package:
- The candidate’s updated Curriculum Vitae in PDF format
- Tentative dates of the stay
- Preferred working hours (morning, afternoon)
- A presentation, motivation letter describing the candidate’s background, topics or areas of interest at CVC, and future career plans
- Choose your CVC tutor. It is encouraged a letter of support from a CVC researcher (with date, name and contact details). This will allow candidates to get to know the work that the CVC researcher does. If agreed by both parties, the CVC researcher can be his/her tutor during the internship
- A scanned copy of the candidate’s academic transcripts (from previous and current studies, as far as available), in English, Spanish, or Catalan, together with the average academic score
