Directorate of Provincial Healthcare Service Monitoring & Evaluation System

The Health & Population Department, Government of Punjab, is inviting applications from qualified and experienced individuals for the following contract-based positions under the development project titled:
“Directorate of Provincial Healthcare Service Monitoring & Evaluation System.”

📌 Available Positions

1. Surveillance Assistant (PPS-05)

• No. of Vacancies: 50

• Age Limit: Up to 45 years

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree (14 years) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent (at least 2nd Division) from an HEC-recognized university

  • OR

  • Graduation (14 years) with minimum 2nd Division and a 3–6 months certified computer diploma

2. Monitoring Assistant (PPS-04)

• No. of Vacancies: 220

• Age Limit: Up to 50 years

• Eligibility Criteria:

  • Graduation (14 years) with minimum 2nd Division and at least 1 year of verifiable experience in data collection/survey work from a recognized organization

  • OR

  • Retired armed forces personnel with at least 1 year of relevant experience in the health or education sector

✅ General Requirements & Conditions

• Positions are offered on a contract basis under the Punjab Government’s Recruitment Policy 2022

• Working knowledge of computers and IT devices (tablets, PCs) is essential

• Valid motorcycle driving license is mandatory for Monitoring Assistant applicants

• Provincial quotas for women, minorities, and differently-abled persons will be observed

• Transgender individuals are strongly encouraged to apply

• Applicants must hold domicile of Punjab

• Government/semi-government/autonomous body employees should apply through proper channels

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for test/interview

• Final appointments will be made based on document verification and departmental policies

• No TA/DA will be provided for test/interview

• The department reserves the right to increase/decrease the number of vacancies or cancel recruitment without notice

📝 How to Apply

1. Apply online via National Testing Service (NTS): www.nts.org.pk

2. Applicants for Monitoring Assistant may choose up to 2 district preferences for posting

3. Send the following documents to NTS via courier:

   • Filled application form

   • Copy of CNIC

   • Two recent passport-sized photos

   • Paid deposit slip (test fee)

4. Pay the test fee through participating banks, mobile apps, or counters using the 20-digit invoice number on the slip

5. Deadline for submission: 20th June 2025

6. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted

7. Minimum 50% marks required in the NTS test to qualify

8. In case of a high number of qualifying candidates, additional criteria may apply
