SECP stands as Pakistan’s apex regulatory authority, entrusted with the critical responsibility of supervising and regulating the corporate sector. This includes oversight of capital markets, insurance and non-banking finance companies, and private pension funds.

SECP also ensures compliance by external service providers like chartered accountants, credit rating agencies, brokers, and corporate secretaries—playing a vital role in shaping Pakistan’s financial and economic landscape.

Duration: 6–10 weeks
Eligibility: Students (Bachelor’s 3rd year onwards, Master’s, or recent graduates) from HEC-recognized local or foreign universities & professional institutes.
Minimum Academic Requirement: 70% in the annual system or CGPA 3.0/4.0 or 4.0/5.0

Eligibility Criteria

• Currently enrolled students in local or foreign HEC-recognized universities and must have completed at least two (2) out of four (4) years of Bachelor’s degree Program or enrolled in Master’s Program in the areas of Accountancy, Finance, Insurance, Management, Administration, Economics, Public Policy, IT, Law etc. or students of professional institutes pursuing professional education, such as Chartered Accountancy, Cost and Management Accountancy, Actuarial Sciences, ACCA, CFA etc.

• Fresh graduates or professional education holders with relevant qualifications, who completed their education within the last 12 months.

• Students must have a minimum of 70% marks (annual system) or a minimum CGPA of 3.00 out of 4.00 or 4.00 out of 5.00 (where the GPA system applies)

• Candidates having international degrees/qualifications, which do not mention CGPA/percentages on their transcripts.

• Students must meet these requirements at the time of applying for the program. students awaiting results to meet the eligibility criteria are not eligible.
