The Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) is proud to launch its Summer Internship Program (SIP) 2025 under the Centre for Learning and Development (CLD) — an incredible opportunity for aspiring professionals to gain immersive, hands-on experience in research, public policy, and sustainable development with one of Pakistan’s leading think tanks.
If you are a driven, curious learner eager to work on real-world challenges and contribute to meaningful change, SIP 2025 is your gateway to stepping into the dynamic world of research and development.
🎓 What is SIP 2025?
The Summer Internship Program (SIP) is a 6-week structured internship designed to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application. Interns will receive mentorship, on-the-job training, and the chance to contribute directly to SDPI’s multidisciplinary work in areas such as climate change, governance, economic development, media, and policy reform.
📅 Internship Cohorts:

Cohort I: Starting July 1, 2025

Cohort II: Starting August 1, 2025
Interns can choose their cohort based on availability and academic schedules.
🔍 What Will You Gain?
As an SDPI intern, you will:

Collaborate with experienced supervisors and technical experts

Get involved in live research projects, communications, and field-based development activities

Attend expert-led discussions, policy briefings, and interactive workshops

Draft and contribute to policy briefs, research reports, and SDPI events

Deliver a final presentation showcasing your learnings

Be honored at a Certificate Distribution Ceremony upon completion
👥 Who Should Apply?
This program is ideal for:

Graduating students of 2024–25

Individuals with educational backgrounds in social sciences, economics, energy studies, climate and environmental sciences, public policy, media & communication, development studies, and more
Note: Those who have already graduated may explore employment opportunities with SDPI instead of this internship.
