METI Japan AI & Tech Talent Internship 2025 | Fully Funded Opportunity

Applications are now open for the METI Japan Internship Program 2025 – a fully funded international internship opportunity for students and recent graduates in the fields of AI, IT, and Technology. Organized and funded by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) Japan, this government-approved initiative places interns in leading Japanese companies for hands-on experience in advanced tech environments.

The internship will take place from October 31 to December 15, 2025, lasting approximately 1.5 months. This program does not require Japanese language proficiency, and no application fee is charged. Participants from ODA-recipient countries on the DAC List are encouraged to apply.

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

Must not exceed JLPT N5 level in Japanese proficiency
Fully available for all internship and training sessions
Must meet any additional requirements set by host companies
